App Machine SIA ("we", "us", or "our") operates the Talkypedia mobile application and the website at talkypedia.com (together, the "Service"). Talkypedia is a tapping game designed for young children (ages 2–4) and is offered in the Apple App Store Kids Category.
Protecting children's privacy is central to how the Service is built. This policy explains what little information we handle, why, and the choices you have. In short: we do not collect personal information, we show no advertising, we use no third-party analytics or tracking, and we never sell or share data.
Talkypedia is designed to comply with the Apple Kids Category requirements, the U.S. Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA), and the EU General Data Protection Regulation, including its provisions for children (GDPR / GDPR-K). Accordingly, the Service:
To let the game remember a device between visits, we store a single first-party, strictly-necessary cookie ("device_guid") containing a randomly generated identifier (a UUID). This identifier is not the advertising identifier (IDFA), is not a device fingerprint, and is not linked to any real-world identity, name, or contact detail. It cannot be used to identify a child.
All game logic runs on our server, so we record a minimal, anonymous play log to guide the child through the game and remember where they are. This log consists of:

Like virtually all internet services, our servers and hosting infrastructure may automatically log technical information (such as IP address and request data) for security and reliable operation. These logs are a standard operational measure, are not stored in the game database, and are not used to profile, track, or identify children.
We do not collect or request names, email addresses, phone numbers, postal addresses, precise geolocation, contacts, photos, camera or microphone data, or any other personal data. The Service has no user accounts and no login.

We do not sell, rent, or share information with third parties for their own purposes. We rely on hosting and network-infrastructure providers solely to deliver the Service on our behalf (as data processors); they do not receive any means to identify a child and are bound to protect the data. For reliability, we also use a server-side error-monitoring service (Sentry) as a processor to detect and fix crashes; it is configured to receive only technical error data, with personal data such as IP addresses and cookies stripped before transmission, and it never receives information that identifies a child. The Service contains no third-party advertising and performs no behavioral tracking of users.

The anonymous play log supports the internal operation of the Service and is not used for behavioral advertising or to build a profile of any child. We take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect the limited data we handle. However, no method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
App Machine SIA is based in Latvia (European Union), and the Service's data is processed within the EU. If you use the Service from outside the EU, you understand that the limited anonymous data described here is processed in the EU under this policy.
